My pick would be the Ted Williams tunnel, you don't even have to leave the airport to connect to the tunnel. The entrance to the tunnel is over by the Hilton Hotel. Just follow the signs. There is a $3.00 toll. So just go in the tunnel (it only goes one way from the airport) and take exit 24 to I-93N. Simple as that.
